Simple. Log into your online portal https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/
Go to the online portal https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/, and click the “Forgot Password?
This will provide you instructions on how to reset, followed by a password reset link. Please check your junk/spam folders for this.
Please note the password reset link is only valid for 1 hour. You are only able to do to 5 resets in a 24-hour period.
By accessing your online portal, you can update most details yourself https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/
If you require a specific update from the team, please reach out to billing@speednames.uk providing the update you require and the first 4 characters of your password.
Please note without confirming the characters of your password the team are not able to assist.
Log into your online portal https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/. Hover over your name in the top right-hand corner and from the drop-down menu select the invoice tab.
Log in to your online portal https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/ and hover over your name in the top right-hand corner and from the drop-down menu select the payments tab. From here you can add/update/amend your payment method.
If you wish to cancel your account, please send an email to billing@speednames.uk along the with the first 4 characters of your portal password or email us from the account email address. Please also confirm in detail what products you wish to cancel or confirm if you wish to cancel the account indefinitely.
Please note upon deletion of an account, this process cannot be reversed.
If you haven’t already reset your FTP details via this portal, your existing FTP credentials will not work. You will need to create new FTP users within your Portal. To create new users:
1. Login to speednames.co.uk – https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/
2. Select Web Apps > FTP
3. Follow on screen instructions to create and save users
FTP Login:
Host: Your domainname.tld
User: Your domainname.tld or user.domainname.tld
Password: is what you set within FTP Manager
If you are wanting to transfer your domain name from another provider to Speednames, please email the team at domainservices@speednames.uk. Providing the domain name in question you wish to transfer in, along with the EPP Code (or Auth code) for the domain and the first 4 characters of your password.
The team will then contact you back to advise of the following steps.
If you are wanting to transfer your domain name away, you have a couple of options depending on the type of domain you have (TLD – .co.uk, .uk, com etc).
Option 1- If your domain requires you to update your IPS Tag, this cannot be done in the customer portal and must be domain by emailing the team at domainservices@speednames.uk. Please email team advising what the domain what you would like to transfer, and what the IPS Tag needs to be updated to.
Option 2 – If your domain requires an AUTH Code (or EPP Code), you do do this by logging into your online portal and going to “Manage DNS” and requested via this.
If for any reason this does not provide what you require, please email the team at domainservices@speednames.uk providing your details, and the first 4 passwords of your password and we will look to assist.
If you are an existing customer of Speednames, you are able to simply log into your online portal and click the “Shop” button in the top right-hand corner and purchase the new domain directly. This will then appear in your online portal.
If you are a new customer, then please email the billing team on billing@speednames.uk providing the following information.
- Full Name
- Address
- Post Code
- Telephone Number
- Email Address
- Domain Name
- Company Name
Once we receive this information, we will create a new account for you and send you your login details. This will give you access to the online portal in which to update your payment method and purchase a domain along with other services we offer.
If your domain name is pointed elsewhere, you may need to update your MX records.

You are required to update these yourself via your portal. Accessed through https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/
To access your Webmail, it’s very simple. You just need to go to https://webmail.speednames.uk/#/login and login using your email credentials.
Simply go to the online account portal – https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/ and login. This will give you access to your webmail, and the facility to reset the password.
To create to Webmail accounts, please visit https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/ and login to your Speednames account.
Once logged in, click on the “Mail Manager” on the screen and you will see a green box that says, “New Email Account”. You can then click this and fill in all relevant information to create and additional email box.
To set up forwarding on your Webmail accounts, please visit https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/ and login to your Speednames account.
Once logged in, click the “Mail Manager” link and you will see a blue box that says, “Mail Aliases”, from here you can set up to 20 email forwarding addresses.
To reset your email password, please log into your account using the main portal https://portal.speednames.uk/portal/.
Once you have logged in navigate to the “Mail Manager” button, this will give you full visibility over all emails set up with the account. You can reset passwords, add/remove emails etc.
Absolutely. We do provide our own mail client, but understand some clients prefer to set up using a more familiar mailing tool such as Outlook.If you are using a third-party email client such as Microsoft Outlook or MacMail, you will need to update your email settings to the below:
- Username: Your email address
- Incoming/POP/IMAP mail server: mail.speednames.co.uk
- Outgoing/SMTP mail server: mail.speednames.co.uk
- Host: mail.speednames.co.uk
- Port Numbers: 143(IMAP) or 110(POP) and 1025(SMTP)
- Authentication: PasswordOutgoing server authentication should be enabled, using the same settings as your incoming
Please also ensure your outgoing mail server authentication is enabled.
If you need to use secure mail settings, they are:
- Host: mailc50.megamailservers.eu
- Username + Password: Email Address + Password – can be obtained through Mail Manager.
- Port Numbers: 993(IMAP) or 995(POP) and 465(SMTP)
- Authentication: Password
- Outgoing server authentication should be enabled; using the same settings as your incoming server.
- SSL: Enabled.Please note that we are happy to provide the details, but we do not support in setting
- this up for you.
To create an email signature, select “Preferences” (gear icon) from the left-hand menu within Webmail. Select “Signatures”, and input a title, and write and format your email signature and click “Add.” Your new signature will now appear on your List of Signatures.
You can create multiple email signatures and select a default signature by selecting the star next to the title on your List of Signatures.
In Webmail, select “Preferences” (gear icon) from the left-hand menu within Webmail. Select “Data Usage” to view your disk space used and remaining, as well as a breakdown by Inbox folder.
